Luke Sital-Singh - “Little River”

From his new LP, Fool’s Spring, UK-based singer-songwriter Luke Sital-Singh has just revealed the upbeat folksy energy of “Little River.”

Straight out of the gate, “Little River” is designed to put some extra pep in your step, beginning with a digital drum fill before erupting into a fully-fleshed, energetic arrangement. The muted plucks of bass and guitar melodically dance together, bound and determined to ensure that all listeners find themselves subconsciously tapping their feet.

And while we have grown quite accustomed to Sital-Singh’s more stripped-back recordings, we are quite enthralled by the indie-pop nature of “Little River,” particularly due to his vocal performance. The lyrical delivery here comes across as very contemporary and exquisitely produced, which should lead to it doing very well on modern radio.

On the refrain, Sital-Singh has deployed a plethora of vocal layers, oftentimes sounding as though a choir, which enhances the overall stereo spread of the tune. “Little River“ comes complete with remarkable moments of ebb and flow due to its multiple dynamic breaks, which we feel will keep you coming back for more.

If you have yet to introduce your ears to the wondrous sounds of Luke Sital-Singh, “Little River” is the perfect place to begin, now available everywhere via Nettwerk Music Group. Connect with the artist online: Spotify | Instagram | Facebook | Bandcamp
