From Houston, Texas, indie alternative duo onlydigitally have just released the soulfully understated “old dog.”
“old dog” has a pleasing, stripped-back, introspective vibe where the mellow, earthy tones of acoustic guitar are front and centre driving the composition forward. The warm texture is delightfully comforting as each chord is allowed to breathe richly.
Banjo and electric guitar weave in tender support, whilst drums and bass elegantly punctuate the track’s groove. The music meditatively compels you to listen on whilst contrasting the underlying melancholic mood from the vocals and lyrics.
