Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Adam James has just released the nostalgic, 1960s-inspired sounds of “Rock N Rolla.”

Full of dynamic twists and turns, “Rock N Rolla” is sure to capture the attention of anyone smart enough to press that play button. The track begins with a brief, acoustic guitar-driven arrangement, soon followed by a full-band production that beholds the analogue fervor of that authentic, classic sound of yesteryear.

The refrain is a bit darker and on the cusp of melancholic, juxtaposed by a wide, robust, and energetic soundscape across the verses. The result is a track that will ebb and flow its way right into your music-loving soul, with a vocal performance from James that delicately transitions from near-crooning to falsetto in a manner that we truly cannot resist.

Having transplanted from New York to Los Angeles, James adds that “Rock N Rolla” “takes you on my road trip from the East to the West Coast in 2020. It’s part love song, part tribute to my faithful, red “Rock ‘N’ Rolla” Corolla, in true Beach Boys fashion.” The Beach Boys influence is most prominent in the songs final third.

If you happen to be in the market for some sweet tunes to populate your roadtrip playlist, be sure to add Adam James’ “Rock N Rolla” into the rotation– it will easily get you anywhere you’re headed.
