Aaron Wylder - “Don’t Let Me Down”

An acoustic guitar riff and thumping kick drum introduces Aaron Wylder’s “Don't Let Me Down” and it is relentless all the way through. The acoustic is compelling and incredibly catchy, pushing out the notes almost in a frenzy. I have the feeling that if this were performed live in a bar or pub, it would be met with overwhelming approval… it is that good. Below, the bass rumbles. The tambourine and shakers help give the song a very fantastic attitude and swagger. This tune, for me, entices you to dance and I am not a dancer… more the guy who props up the bar. Wylder’s classic, indie vocal is subtly distorted to perfection. Just when you think it can’t get any better, the music builds with claps and reaches a glorious crescendo. This song is excellent.

The artist says: “This song describes my animalistic passion and competitive drive to be a truly successful singer songwriter. It is me saying, “Hey world, I may not be this or that, but this is who I am.” This song is me presenting myself to the world and making a statement that I have arrived.”
