Where’s Beth - “Bone Broth”

From New York City, Where’s Beth has just released the debut indie folk album, Bone Broth, so we decided to have a listen to the enchanting title track.

Built upon the exquisitely vibrant and shimmering notes of fingerpicked acoustic guitar, “Bone Broth” exudes a deeply reflective and atmospheric mood. Enhancing this are the sensitive yet increasingly intricate musical layers, from the delicate, sustaining touches of piano to the smooth, reflective swells of steel guitar. These layers feel more ambient in nature, permeating the track with a sense of dreamy introspection that’s hard to resist getting lost in.

Pushed forward by the beautifully understated bass and drums, the song builds to a fluid, expansive eBow guitar solo that majestically brings the track to a close. Gifting the song with a tender, warm glow are the delicate vocals. “Bone Broth” is a majestic piece of indie folk, taken from the debut album of the same name, now available everywhere. The record, like this track, is filled with warm vocals and a chilled sense of reflectiveness. To pick up a digital or physical copy of the album click here.
