Montreal-based singer-songwriter Vikki Gilmore has found her steady stride in releasing folksy morsels of goodness. Today, she returns to the blog with the sheer elegance of “Claim My Throne.”

This song was inspired by my Celtic roots as well as cinematic soundtracks in Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones. It’s about reclaiming your power over your inner demons and realizing that you don’t need to live in your own shadow forever.”
