Regency Club - “Déjà Rêvé”
Regency Club’s new song, “Déjà Rêvé,” is a refreshing indie track that has wonderful summer-time vibes to it. The song starts off with a groovy beat and a catchy bass line that immediately sets the tone for the rest of the track. The clean electric guitars enhance the rhythm, and the tambourine and keys add a nice lightness to the chorus sections.
The song’s breaks are a standout feature, as they strip back the music to just the vocal and bass, whilst maintaining the melody. This keeps the song really entertaining and also adds a playful nature to the music. The organ adds a nice retro pad in the background in the odd spot adding to a sense of fun and warmth.
The electric guitar solo is a nice touch as well. This song really does have it all! The vocal performance is good and relaxed, effortlessly gliding through the melody and fitting perfectly with the overall vibe of the song.
“Déjà Rêvé” is a catchy and enjoyable track… I am now ready for summer.
