Modern Alibi - “Seventies”

Modern Alibi's latest release, “Seventies,” is an energetic and infectious indie pop/rock track that immediately grabs your attention with its driving guitars and solid groove. The instrumentation is expertly crafted, with the guitars riffing on the verses and bursting into life over the chorus sections, creating a sense of contrast. The vocals are cool and relaxed, ticking all the boxes of a good indie pop/rock performance. The mix is also very well done, giving the song a nice polish with the use of tasteful panning and effects.
Lyrically, “Seventies” conveys the complicated emotions of attraction and temptation. The lyrics capture the uneasy feelings of losing control and trying to resist the pull of something exciting and dangerous. Overall, “Seventies” is a great debut single that showcases Modern Alibi’s songwriting skills. It’s a superb song and will leave you wanting more.
