“I’ll Be Gone” – Francisco Sola

Friends, I am not reviewing “I’ll Be Gone,” by Francisco Sola; I am prescribing it to you. Chances are, you’ve already heard some version of it before, echoing in your head, since birth. It has long been a part of the soundtrack to any of the emotional turmoil you’ve ever experienced in your entire life.

You should listen to “I’ll Be Gone” if your symptoms include any of the following: You still listen to Bon Iver’s new stuff, but miss the rawness and fragility of their earlier workYou have had more shitty relationships than successful ones… You have cried while listening to anything by Jeff Buckley… You are too introverted to deal with the parking lot at a concert and, instead, prefer to sit in your car and let a playlist carry you on a journey through your emotions… You have a heartbeat…

“I’ll Be Gone” will either fix you right up or completely destroy you. Either way, you probably deserve it.
